https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/covid-by-county.html)
Pierce County COVID-19 Community Level has dropped to MEDIUM and WA State ended the requirement for mandatory mask wear indoors effective 11 MAR. IAW both State and CDC guidance, mask wear is optional on JBLM, unless Pierce County returns to HIGH COVID-19 Community Levels :
When CDC COVID-19 Community Level for Pierce County rises to HIGH—indoor mask wearingwill be required for vaccinated and unvaccinated, weekly screening tests for unvaccinated personnel is required for access to DoD facilities
When CDC COVID-19 Community Level for Pierce County is MEDIUM —indoor mask wearing is not required for vaccinated or unvaccinated IAW CDC recommendations, weekly screening tests for unvaccinated personnel required for access to DoD facilities.
When CDC COVID-19 Community Level for Pierce County drops to LOW — indoor mask wearing will not be required for vaccinated or unvaccinated IAW CDC recommendations, screening testing for unvaccinated personnel not required for access to DoD facilities o NOTE: Updated masking guidance does not apply to Madigan or other MTFs.
