About this file

This document contains industry questions related to a federal contract opportunity for a service contract to provide material handling equipment (MHE) capable of loading and unloading containerized and non-containerized military equipment weighing up to 50 tons at Fort Cavazos, TX. The contract requires one 15K forklift, two 35K forklifts, two 50-ton detachable gooseneck trucks, three 53' flatbed trucks, and one 50-ton crane with operators to support redeployment operations from December 9-20, 2024. The solicitation states the equipment must be predominantly used outdoors, though may occasionally drive through a motor pool bay. It confirms that pneumatic forklift tires would satisfy the requirements as long as they meet the lift capacity.
