Site Visit Questions and Answers

· Question 1: In reference to SDSs, is a QR code SDS acceptable for Housekeeping carts?

· Answer: As per paragraph 4.9.2 of the solicitation, "The Contractor shall maintain SDS for all chemical products used in the performance location and ensure copies of all SDS are available in Contractor offices, closets, and on each cleaning cart/trolley." Therefore, QR codes are not acceptable.

· Question 2: In reference to EH’s certifications, will the Government pay for these certifications?

· Answer: No. The contractor is responsible for providing and maintaining all required certifications for their personnel, including the Executive Housekeeper.

· Question 3: Are there any charging stations available for electric/full hybrid vehicles?

· Answer: No charging stations are currently available on-site.

· Question 4: Is it possible to install a Dilution Control Dispenser System?

· Answer: Yes, as per paragraph 4.3.8 of the solicitation, "The Contractor shall provide Dilution Control Dispenser Systems as required and in accordance with industry practice." Paragraph 4.3.8.1 further states, "The Contractor shall coordinate installation of approved Dilution Control Dispenser Systems with the COR and Facilities Management Branch during the Transition Period as detailed in Part 5 of the PWS, Specific Tasks." Paragraph 4.3.8.2 states "The Contractor shall ensure Dilution Control Dispenser System accuracy through monthly testing and maintain records showing dates of testing, results, and corrective actions that must be available upon request to the Government."

· Question 5: Does the contractor have to provide a washer and dryer to clean mop heads, dust mops, and cleaning cloths, as per paragraph 4.9.3, or is it acceptable to wash them off-site at the contractor’s own expense, cleaned in accordance with commercial laundry standards?

· Answer: No. The contractor has the option of either providing equipment to launder the items on-site or to use off-site commercial laundry services. PWS paragraph 4.9.3. is revised as follows, “The Contractor shall provide clean mop heads, dust mops, and cleaning cloths in accordance with commercial laundry standards. The Government has allocated space, and electric and water connections for Contractor-furnished washer and dryer in room OB17 if the Contractor opts to clean the items on-site.”

· Question 6: Is it possible to receive historical quantities or a more detailed breakdown of the laundered items, divided by type (sheets, pillowcases, curtains, gowns, etc.).
