Drawings, Project Manual and Bid Form for the above referenced project are hereby revised in accordance with the items set forth herein. This Addendum supersedes and supplements all portions of the Bidding Documents with which it conflicts.
Receipt of this Addendum shall be acknowledged by entering this Addendum number and date on your proposal.
The following are changes or additions to the drawings and specifications dated July 31, 2021.

Section 01 0350 Modification Procedures
Replace Paragraph 1.04 E. with the following:
E. Change Order Proposals:
1. When either or both additions and credits covering related work or substitutions are involved in any one change, the allowance for overhead and profit shall be calculated on basis of the net amount of cost or credit.
a. The allowance for overhead and profit combined, included in the total cost shall be based on the following schedule:

3) For each Subcontractor or Sub‐subcontractor involved; for added or deleted work performed by the Subcontractor’s own forces; 15 percent of the cost.
4) For each Subcontractor; for added or deleted work performed by the Subcontractor’s Sub‐subcontractor, 5 percent of the amount due the subcontractor.
5) Deduct 5% from 1) and 3) above for individual changes over $10,000.00.
b. In order to facilitate the checking of quotations for extras or credit, all proposals, except those so minor that their propriety can be seen by inspection, shall be accomplished by a complete itemization of costs including labor, materials, and subcontracts. Labor and materials shall be itemized in the manner described above. Where major cost items are subcontract, they shall be itemized also.
c. Overhead includes general office operating costs that are not direct costs related to the project. Overhead items would include, but are not limited to, general company insurance, office rental or operating costs, company vehicles and/or equipment, etc. Overhead shall also include Performance‐Payment Bond costs associated with the contract modification.
The above rates also apply to subcontractors at all tiers.
d. Overhead and profit will not be allowed on labor costs if it is already included in the hourly labor rate.

2.04 ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
A. Coordination:
1. Coordinate compatibility of generator sets to be installed with work provided under other sections or by others.
a. Transfer Switches: See Section 26 3600.
2. Coordinate the work with other trades to avoid placement of ductwork, piping, equipment or other potential obstructions within the spaces dedicated for engine generator system.
3. Coordinate arrangement of equipment with the dimensions and clearance requirements of the actual equipment to be installed.
4. Coordinate the work to provide electrical circuits suitable for the power requirements of the actual auxiliary equipment and accessories to be installed.
5. Notify Architect of any conflicts with or deviations from Contract Documents.
Obtain direction before proceeding with work.

1.06 SUBMITTALS
A. See Section 01 3000 - Administrative Requirements, for submittal procedures.
B. Product Data: Provide manufacturer's standard catalog pages and data sheets for each product, including ratings, configurations, dimensions, finishes, weights, service condition requirements, and installed features. Include alternator starting capabilities, engine fuel consumption rates, and cooling, combustion air, and exhaust requirements.
1. Include generator set sound level test data.
2. Include characteristic trip curves for overcurrent protective devices.
3. Include alternator thermal damage curve.
C. Shop Drawings: Include dimensioned plan views and sections indicating locations of system components, required clearances, and field connection locations. Include system interconnection schematic diagrams showing all factory and field connections.
D. Derating Calculations: Indicate ratings adjusted for applicable service conditions.
E. Fuel Storage Tank Calculations: Indicate maximum running time for generator set configuration provided.
F. Manufacturer's Installation Instructions: Indicate application conditions and limitations of use stipulated by product testing agency. Include instructions for storage, handling, protection, examination, preparation, installation, and operation of product.
G. Manufacturer's factory emissions certification.
H. Manufacturer's certification that products meet or exceed specified requirements.
I. Source quality control test reports.
J. Provide NFPA 110 required documentation from manufacturer, including but not limited to:
1. NFPA 110 compliance certification.
2. Certified rated load test at rated power factor.
K. Manufacturer’s detailed field testing procedures.
L. Field quality control test reports.
M. Operation and Maintenance Data: Include detailed information on system operation, equipment programming and setup, replacement parts, and recommended maintenance procedures and intervals.
1. Include contact information for entity that will be providing contract maintenance and trouble call-back service.
N. Executed Warranty: Submit documentation of final executed warranty completed in Owner's name and registered with manufacturer.
O. Project Record Documents: Record actual locations of system components, installed circuiting arrangements and routing, and final equipment settings.
P. Maintenance Materials: Furnish the following for Owner's use in maintenance of project.

Q. Product Data: Provide data showing dimensions, weights, ratings, interconnection points, and internal wiring diagrams for engine, generator, control panel, battery, battery rack, battery charger, exhaust silencer, vibration isolators, and enclosure system.
1.07 QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. Comply with the following:
1. NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code).
2. NFPA 110 (Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems); meet requirements for
Level 1 system.
3. NFPA 37 (Standard for the Installation and Use of Stationary Combustion Engines and
Gas Turbines).
4. NFPA 30 (Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code).

B. Manufacturer Qualifications: Company specializing in manufacturing the products specified in this section with minimum three years documented experience.
1. Authorized service facilities located within 100 miles ([ ] km) of project site.
C. Product Listing Organization Qualifications: An organization recognized by OSHA as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) and acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction.
1.07 PRE-DELIVERY TESTING
A. The system manufacturer shall perform post production tests on the generator set supplied. A certified report shall be submitted for review before the units are prepared for shipment.
B. Prior to delivery and acceptance, the generator set shall be tested to show it is free of any defects and will start automatically and carry full load. This testing shall be performed at the facility of the system manufacturer. Testing shall be performed after assembly with all operating accessories. Tests to be performed but not limited to the following:
1. Time interval between initiation of startup from cold conditions and the point generator output is regulated to the specified steady state voltage and frequency conditions.
2. Voltage and frequency regulation within the specified limits upon one-step increase and decrease from no-load to full-load.
3. Full power output without overheating at rated power factor specified maximum operating ambient temperature, and corrected to the altitude of the installation site.
4. Before engine generator set is prepared for shipment, submit certified test results indicating values and adjustments used, and identify engine generator set by manufacturer's serial numbers.
1.08 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
A. Receive, inspect, handle, and store generator sets in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and NECA/EGSA 404.
B. Store in a clean, dry space. Maintain factory wrapping or provide an additional heavy canvas or heavy plastic cover to protect units from dirt, water, construction debris, and traffic.
C. Handle carefully in accordance with manufacturer's instructions to avoid damage to generator set components, enclosure, and finish.
1.09 FIELD CONDITIONS
A. Maintain field conditions within manufacturer's required service conditions during and after installation.
1.10 WARRANTY
A. See Section 01 7800 - Closeout Submittals, for additional warranty requirements.
B. Provide minimum one year manufacturer warranty covering repair or replacement due to defective materials or workmanship.
C. Delivery shall be FOB to the jobsite by the system manufacturer's authorized dealer. A visual inspection shall be made by the Engineer and the Owner's representative prior to acceptance.
PART 2 PRODUCTS
2.01 MANUFACTURERS
A. Packaged Engine Generator Set - Basis of Design: MTU Onsite Energy.
B. Packaged Engine Generator Set- Other Acceptable Manufacturers:
1. Caterpillar Inc: www.cat.com.
2. Cummins Power Generation Inc: www.cumminspower.com.
C. Products other than basis of design are subject to compliance with specified requirements and prior approval of Engineer. By using products other than basis of design, Contractor accepts responsibility for costs associated with any necessary modifications to related work, including any design fees.

D. Source Limitations: Furnish engine generator sets and associated components and accessories produced by a single manufacturer and obtained from a single supplier.
2.02 PACKAGED ENGINE GENERATOR SYSTEM
A. Provide new engine generator system consisting of all required equipment, sensors, conduit, boxes, wiring, piping, supports, accessories, system programming, etc. as necessary for a complete operating system that provides the functional intent indicated.
B. Provide products listed, classified, and labeled as suitable for the purpose intended.
C. System Description:
1. Application: Emergency/standby.
2. Configuration: Single packaged engine generator set operated independently (not in parallel).
3. Total System Power Rating: 300kW, standby.
D. Packaged Engine Generator Set:
1. Type: Diesel (compression ignition).
2. Emissions Rating (Diesel Engines Only):
a. Engine to be rated Tier 2 or Tier 3 to meet EPA performance standards for an emergency only generator installation
3. Basis of Design: MTU.
4. Voltage: 480Y/277 V, 3 phase, 60 Hz.
5. Main Line Circuit Breaker:
a. Type: Electronic trip with adjustable long time, long delay, short time, short delay and instantaneous trip elements. Provide a GFCI element with adjustable trip and delay elements on all circuit breakers rated 1200 amperes and larger..
b. Trip Rating: As indicated on drawings.
c. Include battery-voltage operated shunt trip, connected to open circuit breaker on engine failure. Unit mount in enclosure to meet NEMA 250, Type 1 requirements.
Provide quantity and size ratings as shown on the Drawings.
d. Features:
1) Shunt trip. Shunt trip coil to be rated 24 volts, DC.
2) Auxiliary contacts.
E. Generator Set General Requirements:
1. Prototype tested in accordance with NFPA 110 for Level 1 systems.
2. Factory-assembled, with components mounted on suitable base.
3. List and label engine generator assembly as complying with UL 2200.
4. Power Factor: Unless otherwise indicated, specified power ratings are at 0.8 power factor for three phase voltages and 1.0 power factor for single phase voltages.
5. Provide suitable guards to protect personnel from accidental contact with rotating parts, hot piping, and other potential sources of injury.
6. Main Line Circuit Breakers: Provide factory-installed line side connections with suitable lugs for load side connections.
F. Service Conditions: Provide engine generator system and associated components suitable for operation under the service conditions at the installed location.
1. Altitude: 1000 feet ([ ] m).
2. Ambient Temperature: Between [-25] and 104 degrees F ([ ] and 40 degrees C).
G. Starting and Load Acceptance Requirements:
1. Cranking Method: Cycle cranking complying with NFPA 110 (15 second crank period, followed by 15 second rest period, with cranking limiter time-out after 3 cycles), unless otherwise required.
2. Cranking Limiter Time-Out: If generator set fails to start after specified cranking period, indicate overcrank alarm condition and lock-out generator set from further cranking until manually reset.

3. Start Time: Capable of starting and achieving conditions necessary for load acceptance within 10 seconds (NFPA 110, Type 10).
4. Maximum Load Step: Supports 100 percent of rated load in one step.
5. Motor Starting Capability: Supports starting of motor load indicated with a maximum voltage dip of 30 percent.
H. Exhaust Emissions Requirements:
1. Comply with federal (EPA), state, and local regulations applicable at the time of commissioning; include factory emissions certification with submittals.
2. Do not make modifications affecting generator set factory emissions certification without approval of manufacturer and Engineer. Where such modifications are made, provide field emissions testing as necessary for certification.
I. Sound Level Requirements:
1. Do not exceed 78 dBA when measured at 23 feet (7 m) from generator set in free field (no sound barriers) while operating at full load; include manufacturer's sound data with submittals.
2.03 ENGINE AND ENGINE ACCESSORY EQUIPMENT
A. Provide engine with adequate horsepower to achieve specified power output at rated speed, accounting for alternator efficiency and parasitic loads.
B. Engine Fuel System - Diesel (Compression Ignition):
1. Fuel Source: Diesel, ASTM D975 No. 2-D or approved cold weather diesel blends.
2. Fuel Storage: Sub-base fuel tank.
3. Engine Fuel Supply: Provide engine-driven, positive displacement fuel pump with replaceable fuel filter(s), water separator, check valve to secure prime, manual fuel priming pump, and relief-bypass valve. Provide fuel cooler where recommended by manufacturer.
4. Engine Fuel Connections: Provide suitable, approved flexible fuel lines for coupling engine to fuel source.
5. Sub-Base Fuel Tank:
a. Provide sub-base mounted, double-wall fuel tank with secondary containment; listed and labeled as complying with UL 142.
b. Tank Capacity: Size for minimum of 24 hours of continuous engine generator operation at 100 percent rated load, but not larger than permissible by applicable codes.
c. Features:
1) Direct reading fuel level gauge.

F. Engine Cooling System:
1. System Type: Closed-loop, liquid-cooled, with unit-mounted radiator/fan and engine-driven coolant pump; suitable for providing adequate cooling while operating at full load under worst case ambient temperature.
2. Fan Guard: Provide suitable guard to protect personnel from accidental contact with fan.
3. Coolant Heater: Provide thermostatically controlled coolant heater to improve starting under cold ambient conditions; size according to manufacturer's recommendations for achieving starting and load acceptance requirements under worst case ambient temperature.
G. Engine Air Intake and Exhaust System:
1. Air Intake Filtration: Provide engine-mounted, replaceable, dry element filter.
2. Engine Exhaust Connection: Provide suitable, approved flexible connector for coupling engine to exhaust system.
3. Exhaust Silencer: Provide critical grade or better exhaust silencer with sound attenuation not less than basis of design; select according to manufacturer's recommendations to meet sound performance requirements, where specified.
4. Exhaust Piping
a. The engine exhaust system shall be installed to discharge combustion gases quickly and silently with minimum restriction. System back pressure shall in no case exceed
6.7 kPa (27 inches of water). Piping shall be supported and braced to prevent weight or thermal growth being transferred to the engine and flexible expansion fittings provided to accommodate terminal growth. Support dampers and springs shall be included where necessary to isolate vibration. Long runs of pipe shall be pitched away from the engine and water traps installed at the lowest point. Exhaust stacks shall be extended to avoid nuisance fumes and odors, and outlets out at 45 degree to minimize noise.
b. The exhaust silencer shall be mounted near the engine to minimize noise and condensation, and pitched away from the engine. A water trap and drain cock shall

c. Heavy walled piping such as Schedule 40 is preferred, with radii of 90 degree bends at least 1-1/2 times the pipe diameter. Piping shall be installed with 9-inch minimum clearance from combustible material of incorporated appropriate insulating and shielding.
d. Provide a wall or roof thimble of proper size for the exhaust system and the proper rating for the type of material that the piping is routed through.
5. Exhaust Piping and Silencer Insulation
a. Engine exhaust pipes between engine exhaust manifolds, including muffler, and penetration on roof (wall) shall be insulated with two layers of thick molded, rigid, high temperature pipe insulation. The first layer of insulation shall be 2" thick, 6 lb. density, ceramic wool rated for 1900 F. The second layer of insulation shall be 2" thick, 6 lb.
density, mineral wool or construction. Sections and segments shall be secured with wire loops or bands on 12 inch calcium silicate rated at 1200F. Insulation shall be applied in two layer staggered joint centers. Fittings and flanges shall be insulated with sectional pipe insulation and/or blocks of the same materials, fabricated in sections, if desired, before application, and finished with a filling and smoothing coat of high temperature insulating cement. Pipe insulation shall be finished with a separate field applied jacket of 0.02" thick aluminum alloy.
H. Lubrication System
1. The lubrication oil pump shall be a positive displacement type that is integral with the engine and gear driven from the engine gear train. The system shall incorporate full flow filtration with bypass valve to continue lubrication in the event of filter clogging.
2. The bypass valve must be integral with the engine filter base or receptacle. Systems where bypass valves are located in the replaceable oil filter are not acceptable. Pistons shall be oil cooled by continuous jet spray to the underside of the crown and piston ring.
2.04 ALTERNATOR (GENERATOR)
A. Alternator: 4-pole, 1800 rpm (60 Hz output) revolving field, synchronous generator complying with NEMA MG 1; connected to engine with flexible coupling; voltage output configuration as indicated, with reconnectable leads for 3 phase alternators.
B. Exciter:
1. Exciter Type: Brushless; provide permanent magnet generator (PMG) excitation system;
self-excited (shunt) systems are not permitted.
2. PMG Excitation Short-Circuit Current Support: Capable of sustaining 300 percent of rated output current for 10 seconds.
3. Voltage Regulation (with PMG excitation): Plus/minus 0.5 percent for any constant load from no load to full load.
C. Temperature Rise: Comply with UL 2200.
D. Insulation System: NEMA MG 1, Class H; suitable for alternator temperature rise.
E. Enclosure: NEMA MG 1, drip-proof.
F. Total Harmonic Distortion: Not greater than five percent.
2.05 GENERATOR SET CONTROL SYSTEM
A. Provide microprocessor-based control system for automatic control, monitoring, and protection of generator set. Include sensors, wiring, and connections necessary for functions/indications specified.
B. Control Panel:
1. Control Panel Mounting: Unit-mounted unless otherwise indicated; vibration isolated.

2.06 GENERATOR SET ENCLOSURE
A. Walk-In Enclosure: Pre-fabricated, skid mounted unit with engine generator, motorized air intake and exhaust louvers, controls, space heaters, and light fixtures. Provide 3 foot access aisle around the engine-generator, with at least two doors for personnel access. Provide 9 feet clear height minimum. Construct unit from insulated metal panels to provide sound and thermal insulation.
1. A weatherproof modular insulated enclosure, designed to allow full load operation of the engine generator system and all of its accessories, shall be sized for the exact unit being installed.
2. General: The enclosure shall be of the welded and bolted design with all fabricated steel parts conforming to ASTM 569, specification C-1018, and all structural steel conforming to ASTM A36. No external fasteners allowing corrosion to form will be allowed. All parts are to be individually prepped and primed prior to assembly. Finish color is to be selected by Owner.
3. Roof: The roof shall be of the 6-inch to 8-inch tapered design for moisture runoff, with 12 gauge steel roof members and 16 gauge steel roof panels. Lifting eyes shall be supplied.
The exhaust outlet(s) shall be supplied with a 3/16-inch steel ring, 1 inch above the roofline to prevent moisture from entering the enclosure. The roof shall be one (1) inch wider and longer than the housing.
4. Walls: The walls shall be a minimum of four (4) inches deep, of the fabricated design, and of 14 gauge steel.
5. Base: The base of the enclosure shall be designed for skid-base installation, and shall include a means for fastening to the concrete slab. The skid-base style shall include structural or fabricated channel construction with a 7 gauge steel sheet floor with removable rubber matting installed on the walking areas.

6. Louvers: The air openings shall include motorized dampers with fixed louvers sized to allow proper air flow. The frames and blades shall be manufactured of aluminum, and the fronts shall be covered with expanded aluminum screen. Motorized louvers are to include bronze Oilite pivots and Belimo 120.9US power/spring close, 120 volt motors.
7. Doors: Adequate doors shall be installed for sufficient access to the generator set and all accessories. Single doors shall be 36 inches wide and 84 inches high. Double doors shall be 60 inches wide and 84 inches high. As standard, doors shall include steel hinges with brass pins, rainrail moldings above all door openings, recessed, keyed, chrome plated handles with positive rod locking assemblies, and fully weatherstripped. Doors shall be removable.
8. Emergency Battery Light: The enclosure shall contain an emergency battery light fixtures with integral batteries for minimum of 90 minute operation. A minimum level of one (1) footcandle along walking areas is required.
9. Paint: All seams shall be caulked with body sealer. Enclosure shall be metal prepped, primed with two coats of epoxy primer, and finished with two coats of acrylic urethane enamel paint. Color selected by Owner.
10. Exhaust Silencer Mounting: Silencer to come mounted within the enclosure. Mounting the silencer on the roof of the enclosure in not permitted. Silencer and all exhaust piping to be insulated.
11. Insulation: The walls, roof and doors shall be lined with fiberglass insulation matching the wall thickness, complete with 22 gauge galvanized liner installed with pop rivet construction. Provide additional sound attenuation with perforated liner.
12. Sound Attenuation: Design sound levels shall be 75 dBA, as measured at a distance of 23 feet around the housing in a free field environment. Additional wall and insulation thickness, plus air discharge and intake hoods or sound attenuators, shall be installed to meet design sound levels.
13. Fuel Tanks: A skidbase fuel tank of the double wall design shall be incorporated into the skid of the enclosure. Fuel tank shall be sized to provide 24 hours of backup time with the generator operating at 80 percent of rated load in kilowatts. Structural and fabricated rails shall be designed for the capacities and weights of the entire system. As a minimum, the rails shall be of 7 gauge, formed steel, with 7 gauge top, bottom, and baffles. A 2-inch fill, with lockable cap, tank vent, mechanical gauge, rupture basin vent, emergency relief vent, drain, low level alarm dry contacts, ports for supply and return, and one (1) spare connection. Rupture basin shall have leak detection dry contacts. A conduit stub-up area shall be built into tank to route conduits to the generator connection area from below the tank.
14. Equipment Installation: The enclosure manufacturer shall install and wire the generator set and all related transfer and distribution equipment and all ancillary systems for the proper operation of the total system prior to shipment to the job site. Included shall be a 30 KVA dry type step down transformer 480-208/120Y volt with 100 amp disconnect, 100 amp minimum circuit breaker panel, with circuit breakers for lights, outlets, louver motors, engine water jacket heater, battery charger, and a 5 kW enclosure heater, all prewired prior to delivery to jobsite.
15. Ductwork: The installer of the generator set shall install a galvanized air discharge duct, with flexible section, between the engine radiator and the air exhaust louver/damper assembly.
16. Fire Suppression: Provide IBC certified fire suppression system. Adhere certification sticker on outside of enclosure near manufacturer identification.
2.07 SOURCE QUALITY CONTROL
A. Perform production tests on generator sets at factory to verify operation and performance characteristics prior to shipment. Include certified test report with submittals.
B. Generator Set production testing to include, at a minimum:
1. Operation at rated load and rated power factor.
2. Single step load pick-up.

PART 3 EXECUTION
3.01 EXAMINATION
A. Verify that field measurements are as indicated.
B. Verify that the ratings and configurations of generator sets and auxiliary equipment are consistent with the indicated requirements.
C. Verify that rough-ins for field connections are in the proper locations.
D. Verify that mounting surfaces are ready to receive equipment.
E. Verify that conditions are satisfactory for installation prior to starting work.
3.02 INSTALLATION
A. Perform work in accordance with NECA 1 (general workmanship).
B. Install products in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
C. Install generator sets and associated accessories in accordance with NECA/EGSA 404.
D. Arrange equipment to provide minimum clearances and required maintenance access.
E. Provide required support and attachment in accordance with Section 26 0529.
F. Use manufacturer's recommended oil and coolant, suitable for the worst case ambient temperatures.
G. Provide diesel fuel piping and venting in accordance with Section 23 1113, where not factory installed.
H. Provide duct for cooling air intake/exhaust in accordance with Section 23 3100, where not factory installed.
I. Provide engine exhaust piping in accordance with Section 23 5100, where not factory installed.
1. Include piping expansion joints, piping insulation, thimble, condensation trap/drain, rain cap, hangers/supports, etc. as indicated or as required.
2. Do not exceed manufacturer's maximum back pressure requirements.
3. Insulate all exhaust piping and the exhaust silencer.
J. Install exhaust silencer in accordance with Section 23 5100, where not factory installed.
K. Provide grounding and bonding in accordance with Section 26 0526.
L. Identify system wiring and components in accordance with Section 26 0553.
M. Provide grounding at generator set location with two ground rods and #3/0 copper conductors as specified in Section 26 0526 - Grounding and Bonding. Bond generator neutral conductor to grounding rod network in generator output junction box.
N. Provide concrete base as specified in Section 260585 - Concrete Pads and Bases.
O. Provide an adequate quantity of fuel for testing purposes. Provide fuel blend appropriate for temperature conditions.
3.03 FIELD QUALITY CONTROL
A. Provide services of a manufacturer's authorized representative to prepare and start systems and perform inspection and testing. Include manufacturer's detailed testing procedures and field reports with submittals.
B. Notify Owner and Architect at least two weeks prior to scheduled inspections and tests.
C. Notify authorities having jurisdiction and comply with their requirements for scheduling inspections and tests and for observation by their personnel.

1. Verify compliance with starting and load acceptance requirements.

5. Verify operation of auxiliary equipment and accessories (e.g. battery charger, heaters, etc.).
6. Perform load tests in accordance with NFPA 110 (1.5 hour building load test followed by
2 hour full load test). Simulate power failure including operation of transfer switch, automatic starting cycle, and automatic shutdown and return to normal.
a. The testing shall be done on dry type, resistive load banks capable of definite and precise incremental loading. Salt water brine tanks or load banks requiring water as a source of cooling will not be allowed.
b. The load banks shall not be dependent on the generator control instruments to read amperage and voltage on each phase; rather, the test instrumentation will serve as a check of the generator set meters.
c. All consumables necessary for testing shall be furnished by the Bidder. Any defects which become evident during the test shall be corrected by the Bidder at his own expense.
I. Provide field emissions testing where necessary for certification.
J. Sound Level Tests: Measure sound levels for compliance with specified requirements.
Identify and report ambient noise conditions.
K. Correct defective work, adjust for proper operation, and retest until entire system complies with Contract Documents.
L. Submit detailed reports indicating inspection and testing results and corrective actions taken.
3.04 CLEANING
A. Clean exposed surfaces to remove dirt, paint, or other foreign material and restore to match original factory finish.
3.05 CLOSEOUT ACTIVITIES
A. Demonstration: Demonstrate proper operation of system to Owner, and correct deficiencies or make adjustments as directed.
B. Training: Train Owner's personnel on operation, adjustment, and maintenance of system.
1. Use operation and maintenance manual as training reference, supplemented with additional training materials as required.
2. Provide minimum of two hours of training.
3. Instructor: Manufacturer's authorized representative.
4. Location: At project site.
3.06 PROTECTION
