Dr. Kramer submitted the preproposal in late 2018 with a tentative budget. At that time we were unaware of the multitude of reports, multiple iterative prototypes to be delivered. Also we were unaware we would have to include user manual, quick startup Guide, repair manuals, etc. Our current budget in process exceeds the budget of the pre-proposal. Is this a problem?

This is not a problem. The submitted cost proposal should reflect the cost to complete the work in the soliciation and will not be judged against any previous submissions.

The system we plan to deliver has all the controls and indicators required for the Medic or other caregiver. However, We want to program at least the three graphics screens for the MEDHUB that display (1) device status - total fluid delivered per all bags and the current bag, (2) volume (mL) infused over time (minutes) and (3) infusion rate over time. Can we add that to the SOW budget?

Yes. The offeror's technical approach should include how they plan to complete the requirements in the solicitation, and the submitted cost proposal should reflect the cost to complete the work.

N/A
