162 Solicitation Amendment 0004, Section L.2.3 - Volume III Price Factor
The wording for Volume III information changed back from “is requested” to “may be requested” in the following: “In the event the Contracting Officer determines additional information is necessary in order to determine the reasonableness of price, information such as the below may be requested.” Please clarify whether the pricing information that is subsequently listed (Catalog Pricing, Market Pricing, and Other evidence of pricing charged) is to be included in Volume III at time of submittal or if it is information that may be requested by the Government at a later date in the event that the Contracting Officer determines that adequate price competition does not exist. Can the Government specify what information is to be submitted as part of Volume III Price?
Include Attachment 0012-TEP Worksheet in Volume III - Price Factor for submittal, additional documents may be requested after submission of proposals.
163 Attachment_0012- _Total_Evaluated_Price_Workshe et_CD1_13_October_2017.xlsx.
Can you please confirm that the demonstration date will still be held between 11/27-12/15, as listed in the original RFP? And can you confirm that the date for laptop receipt at Aberdeen is the same as before (i.e. 11/20)?
The demonstration dates remain the same as well as the date for the laptop receipt at Aberdeen.
164 Attachment 0012, Affordability and Total Evaluated Price tabs
Both the Affordability and Total Evaluated Price tabs are populated from data in the CLIN Pricing tab. The Affordability tab multiples CLIN 0001 User Trials by two because there are two user trials. However, the Total Evaluated Price tab does not multiply CLIN 0001 User Trials by two.
This gives the impression of a lower total evaluated price because the Total Evaluated Price tab is only including the price of one user trial. Will the government update the formula in the Total Evaluated Price tab to multiply CLIN 0001 User Trials by two so that it matches the formula in the Affordability tab.
Affordability TAB and Total Evaluated Price Tab remain unchanged.
165 Attachment 0012, CLIN Pricing Tab The formula in Cell H56 of the ‘2.
CLIN Pricing’ worksheet references an incorrect cell to multiply against the evaluated quantity. This leads to a miscalculation in the Total Evaluated Price unless offerors update the formula (which is not allowed per the worksheet instructions). Will the government release a revised attachment 0012 with the formula corrected?
Yes, See RFP Amendment (0006) with revised Attachment 0012 TEP worksheet.
