About this file
This document is a comprehensive Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for the Advanced Military Studies Program (AMSP) solicitation, capturing detailed technical and contracting inquiries from potential vendors. The document covers multiple aspects of the contract, including curriculum details, instructor requirements, course structure, and logistical considerations for delivering an advanced military planning program at the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Command and Staff College in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Key highlights include the program's objective to produce operational planners through a curriculum similar to the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies, with 16 students per class focused on strategic-level planning. Technical details reveal the course will be bilingual (English and Arabic), involve staff rides, incorporate wargaming, and potentially lead to a Master's degree accredited by a Saudi University. Contracting details indicate that vendors must propose for all contract options, with equipment and translation responsibilities, and must work towards potential U.S. accreditation. The program expects graduates to serve as planners at Brigade Level and higher, with potential assignments to MNG Headquarters.

No. Vendor Question/Comment Contracting or Technical Government Response:
1 It is our understanding during the industry day Q&A that the base year is only to be priced for course delivery with slight revisions to the current curriculum? Is that an accurate assessment as the PWS 2.1.2 and 2.3 verbiage appears contradictory to the above?
Technical
Superficial revision is required. All identified sections that need significant revisions will be provided after each module to OPM-SANG for determination of what will be executed under this contract for Curriculum revision.
Are all course materials being taught being revised under the current contract and by the current vender?
