About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract W50S9H26QA030 regarding a Building 511 audiovisual (AV) upgrade project. The document addresses inquiries from potential contractors about system requirements and facility specifications, current as of July 21, 2026.
The project involves upgrading an AV/videoconferencing (VTC) system in a briefing room (not a conference room) with drop ceiling and drywall walls with cloth sound damping material. Key requirements include: providing a new hardware equipment rack; supporting multiple classification levels including NIPR, BYOD, and SIPR VTC capabilities; installing wall plates for designated network inputs for content sharing; configuring dual displays with presenters able to select input sources; and procuring all new equipment as no existing hardware will be reused (current monitors are end-of-life). The facility is located in the DDS1 space with no security clearance requirements for installation access. Room layout diagrams and dimensions will be available on SAM.gov. A site survey was scheduled for July 22nd for contractors unable to attend remotely.
