SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 1449 - CONTINUATION SHEET

SOLICITATION/CONTRACT FORM

The required response date/time has changed from 30-Jun-2021 11:00 AM to 07-Jul-2021 03:00 PM.

The following have been added by full text:

QUESTIONS 20-49

20. May we have a copy of the electric plans? The bid notes in the furniture systems section says to refer to the electric plans but they were not included with the bid package. There are several items (WSG1-WSG4, T3) that require confirmation of electrical plugin locations for accurate pricing.

Answer: Electrical plans will be uploaded to FBO.

21. There is one manufacturer that requires a purchase order to be cut directly to them rather than the dealer on GSA contract. Will it be an issue to cut two purchase orders, or do you prefer we proceed with pricing this manufacturer on non-GSA contract?

Answer: Only one purchase order will be issued. As a reminder the vendors listed in the specifications are for reference only and are not required sources, with the exception of Spacesaver.

22. Both Maharam, Steelcut (going on C4) and Designtex, Klange (going on C2) patterns appear to be discontinued as they are no longer listed online. What fabric do we need to quote in the place of those two items?

Answer: Price as mid-grade fabric and final finish selection can be coordinated post award.

23. A12-The model number says 844CC which corresponds to a 4’W corkboard, but the dimensions and drawings state 6’W. Please confirm that 6’ wide needs to be quoted.

Answer: A12 should be 6’ wide.

24. C5-Please confirm the arm to be quoted is the B arm (adjustable arm).

Answer: Confirm

25. C5-The manufacturer stated that the ESD model of this chair is on indefinite backorder. They suggested the Fusion R+ in ESD as a replacement. Please confirm this is acceptable. If ESD is not a requirement, the standard Rhino chair can still be specified.

Answer: This is an acceptable alternative.

26. Desk Monitor Arms: What type of mounting needs to be specified for the monitor arms? Clamp mount or grommet mount?

Answer: Clamp mount.

27. D1-Please clarify that the overhead in this office is to be wood veneer.

Answer: Yes, wood veneer on all of desk with exception of the work surface.

28. D1 is the only typical listed as having an occupancy sensor on the task light. Please verify this is correct.

Answer: Provide occupancy sensors on all task lights.

29. D3-Please clarify if this desk is to be a sit-stand. It is not noted in the item description, but the render, drawing, and BOM all reflect a sit-stand.

Answer: Yes, please provide adjustable height

30. D3-From a previous question asked: “9. Item D3 – a. Height adj. desk list a 30”x72” surface in the BOM and shows it as a 23”x52” on the illustration page. The item description page list a 24”x72” desk with a 24”x42” return and having a 72” overhead, tackboard &light over the return. What are the correct sizes?”

The D3 update provided is still not explicitly clear and has contradicting information.

30. A. The overall dimensions and BOM list 6’x6’ (indicating 24x72 and 24x48 surfaces). The Item description overall lists a 6’x5’6’ (24x72 and 24x42 surface). The drawing shows 6’x6’4” (24x72 and

24x52 surface). The implication is the BOM list and overall dimensions is correct, but please confirm.

Answer: Desk size is not to go below 6’ x 6’. Using standard line products for all components, desk size may vary slightly

30 B. The quantity and type of storage pedestals is still not clear. The item description lists 1 Box/box/file and 1 file/file. The BOM lists 1 box/box/file, 1 file/file, and 1 mobile box/file with cushion top. The drawing shows 1 file/file and 1 mobile box/file with cushion top. The implication is the drawing (with 1 file/file and 1 mobile box/file with cushion top) is correct but please confirm.

Answer: Provide 1 F/F pedestal on fixed height worksurfaces and 1 cushion top mobile box/file pedestal.

31. D3-A modesty panel is specified on the main desk in the item description; however, the BOM or drawing do not reflect a modesty panel. Please confirm if a modesty panel is needed or not. If a modesty panel is needed, should it be laminate or acrylic?

Answer: Modesty panel is not required on adjustable height worksurface

32. D3- The specifications say a single monitor arm, but the BOM says a dual. Which one needs to be specified?

Answer: Provide Dual monitor arms.

33. D4-The item description lists a partial modesty panel, but the BOM and drawing has no modesty panel. Please confirm if a modesty panel is needed.

Answer: No modesty panel is required.

34. WSG2-The description states 42” high wing panels but the rendering shows a 66” high. Please clarify which height should be quoted.

Answer: Provide 66” wing panel.

35. WSG2-The description notes both a BBF and a FF, but the rendering and BOM only have 1 BBF.

Please clarify what should be quoted and quantity of each.

Answer: Provide 1 BBF as indicated on rendering.

36. WSG2-Do these stations need to have CPU holders? The description does not state any but they are shown on the drawing and BOM.

Answer: Yes, provide CPU holders as indicated on illustrations.

37. WSG4-The specifications do not describe what style panels (tackable or metal) are to go on the exterior of the panels that extend into the middle of the room (the ones that have no worksurfaces).

Please clarify.

Answer: Provide tackable skins on exterior of panels.

38. All tables: Are the radius corners a necessity since the softened vinyl edge is continuous around the table? Especially for T2 and T3 that will be in a continuous run.

Answer: Square corners will be accepted.

39. T2-The table is noted as standing height. The drawings note the table as mobile-please confirm these are to be stationary and not mobile.

Answer: Provide glides on table. (4) T2 Table in Avionics Shop are standing height, (14) T2 tables in Training room are seated height (29-30”)

40. T2-Please confirm there is no power and data to be included in these tables.

Answer: Power/data in T2 is not required.

41. T3-How many of power and data plug ins are needed per table?

Answer: Provide dual receptacle

42. E4: The bid lists this as a Freestanding range, but the description on the drawings notes this as a range hood. Do we need to supply both the range and the hood? If so, are there any specifications on the range hood besides a fire suppression system?

Answer: Yes, provide hood and range. Basis of Design for Hood is provided in the general note.

43. WB1-The description states this as 36” deep work but the description notes it as 30” deep. Please confirm it is to be 30”.

Answer: 30” Is correct

44. WB3-The overall description and dimensions states this as a 54” deep work bench but the item description states the top to be 30” deep. Please confirm what depth this needs to be.

Answer: As indicated in the Furniture Item WB3 is not used. Do not price.

45. WB4-The item description states this is to be 30” deep but the dimensions note it as 24” deep.

Please confirm it is to be 30” deep.

Answer: 24” Deep is correct.

46. AV-The description notes that these TV’s need to be mounted to a monitor arm. Is there specific kind of arm these need to be mounted to?

Answer: Provide low-profile, full motion display mount.

47. There is not a question 47

48. Based on the new D3 data sheet is the desk still height adjustable? It is not called out.

Answer: Yes, provide adjustable height. The drawing for this is posted separately on FBO.

49. Per the answers on the MOD you specified that 2 wing walls are needed. Because of the storage and placement of the door a 2nd wing wall will not fit. Please advise.

Answer: If wing panel is not necessary for supporting overhead then remove. If it is required for support, ST3, The (1) ST4 can be moved adjacent to WSG4 and (1) ST3 can move to adjacent to ST4. The drawing for this is posted separately on FBO.
