About this file

This document is a Statement of Objectives (SOO) for a comprehensive video surveillance system installation and upgrade project at a military installation. The project encompasses 54 cameras across multiple locations, including fixed cameras, pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras, and associated control and monitoring stations.

The installation locations and camera requirements are as follows: Building 151 BDOC requires a VMS/Control Station and SERVER for all camera systems; Main Gate Installation Access Control Point requires a 360-degree dome camera in the search pit, one PTZ replacement camera, three fixed cameras for incoming vehicle observation, and one PTZ camera on the overwatch gate shack; Hangar 75/Building 160/Building 4 requires one PTZ replacement camera for the north apron and fixed cameras for the patio of Building 5, with a monitoring and control station in Building 4; Building 160 requires one PTZ replacement camera for the AC parking apron with a monitoring station in Building 60; Munitions Storage Area Buildings 51 and 52 require one fixed camera at Building 52's northwest corner, one PTZ camera, and fixed cameras at the flightline gate, with monitoring capability for Building 52 only; South Apron requires one PTZ replacement camera on a light pole adjacent to the 255th ACS Radar; Hangar 68 requires one fixed camera at the southeast corner to monitor the Alternate Installation Access Control Point; Buildings 99, 109, and 119 (dormitories) require 12 fixed cameras each for hallway observation across multiple floors; Fuel Farm requires two PTZ replacement cameras; Building 155 (Combat Arms Weapons Firing Range) requires one PTZ replacement camera; and the ADR Site requires one fixed camera adjacent to the entry gate. Special installation requirements include using a crane or cherry picker for the approximately 50-foot installation at the north apron and coordinating network and power connections with installation facilities. Several PTZ cameras are specified with the capability to scan areas and hold position on detected movements.
