About this file

This is a Performance Work Statement attachment specifying cleaning standards and service requirements for Computer and Communications Equipment Rooms (CCERs) at two facilities under the Rivanna Station Facilities Maintenance Services (RSFMS) contract.

The CCER cleaning services apply to designated Class 8 clean rooms at the Nicholson Building (rooms B3007, B3010, B3013, B3027, and D3046) and the Boulders 1 Building (room L318). All cleaning must comply with the latest Association of Data Center Cleaning Professionals (ADCCP) Data Center Industry Cleaning Standards and Federal Standard FS209E. Contractors must use HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaners, lint-free clean room wet mops, and anti-static cleaning solutions on raised computer room floor tiles; brooms, conventional mops, and waxes are prohibited. Overhead fixtures, vents, and cable runs must be cleaned with HEPA vacuums, with hand-cleaning using lint-free wipes and anti-static solutions for areas that cannot be vacuumed. Walls, cabinets, desks, countertops, and exposed surfaces require cleaning with HEPA vacuums, lint-free wipes, and anti-static solutions. Trash removal must occur in an adjacent hallway or foyer before emptying. No food or beverages are permitted in CCERs. Service frequencies include weekly vacuum and damp mop of raised floor tiles, and bimonthly (6 times per year) overhead and surface cleaning tasks. All contractor personnel performing CCER cleaning must receive approximately one hour of CCER orientation and safety training annually from an IT government representative, with documentation maintained for Contracting Officer's Representative review.
