About this file
This special packaging instruction outlines the packaging requirements for a main frame assembly and related items to be procured under several federal contracts. Key details include specifications for cushioning, taping, and container construction in accordance with military standards. The instruction also provides cleaning, drying, packing, and marking requirements and notes applicable drawings, standards, and heat treatment of wood packaging materials.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation seeking proposals for remote weapon systems and kit spare parts, conversions, and logistics services in support of Common Remotely Operating Weapon Stations. The Army Contracting Command-New Jersey will award an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity hybrid firm-fixed price and time and material contract to support new RWS requirements for the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and emerging customer needs. Interested offerors must complete questionnaires and non-disclosure agreements to receive export-controlled technical data for proposal preparation. The response deadline and award date are not specified.
