Section L24.1.1, states, “The Government will only support virtual demonstrations for this solicitation.”
As industry has made significant R&D investment into their devices, will the Government please reconsider allowing the option for an in-person demonstration as it would provide the Government the opportunity to experience the full functionality of the device?
The benefit of an in-person demonstration is the ability to show the full industry investment and functionality of the Offerors device. With a virtual demonstration, a full and accurate representation of the true capabilities of each Offerors device may not be realized. This will also mitigate against varying reliability of internet connections that may impact a virtual demonstration.
The Government is no longer considering in-person demonstrations due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
In the event in-person demonstrations are still not permitted, the follow questions apply:

To provide an effective and efficient demonstration, it is noted that Offerors have used Microsoft TEAMS and Google Meets in the past.
Based upon the Government’s previous use in support of virtual demonstrations, does the Government have a preference to the platform used for the virtual demonstration?
The Government does not have a preference but it is recommended that Offeror’s identify the virtual demonstration medium in the submission of the proposal to allow the Government to prepare.
