About this file
This document contains a pricing template spreadsheet and instructions for a Request for Proposals (RFP) from the Department of the Army Materiel Command for the development and production of a Next Generation Load Device Medium (NGLD-M) system. Key details include:
-
The RFP seeks proposals for a ten-year firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and cost reimbursable contract to support requirements for a replacement to the aging Simple Key Loader device family. The base period consists of system development and engineering through Preliminary Design Review, followed by two development options to progress through Critical Design Review and achieve certification.
-
The pricing template spreadsheet consolidates total proposed costs and prices across contract line items for the base period, two development options, low-rate initial production, and eight years of full-rate production. It includes evaluation weightings and quantities to calculate total evaluated prices for each item and overall. Cost elements in plug numbers are provided for the base years.
