The VuWall TRx software must provide an HTML5 browser-based user interface supporting multiple operators and administrators with TLS 1.2 encryption, a permanent lifetime license, and support for unlimited sources, users, and displays. The system requires redundant clustering capabilities with two identical 19-inch rackmount 1U servers, each equipped with a minimum of 32GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage, with automatic failover mechanisms ensuring service restoration within five minutes. The PAK 40-3 visualization nodes must support distributed architecture allowing sources to be displayed at any size across multiple processors, with KVM functionality enabling keyboard and mouse control of remote sources via IP KVM encoders.
The specification requires VuStream 150-3 encoders capable of transmitting HDMI signals up to 3840x2160@60Hz resolution using H.264 and H.265 protocols with maximum latency of 60 milliseconds, end-to-end AES 128-bit encryption, and a minimum three-year warranty. The Application Server must support platform-independent hosting of websites, dashboards, and RDP sessions with capacity for up to 16 HD websites or 4K websites, operate in a virtual machine architecture, and include web-based management interfaces. The ControlVu touch panel must function as a 10-inch PoE-enabled tablet with embedded secure Linux-based operating system, supporting configurable web-based controls without programming requirements, and an MTBF of at least 45,000 hours. All components must integrate seamlessly through the TRx centralized management software, which includes user authentication via Active Directory, preset libraries, macro scripting capabilities, Genetec Security Center plugin support, and REST API compatibility with third-party devices. The same hardware appliance can work as a standalone unit or mulple units can be stched to each other to form a single logical display surface for mul-screen KVM operator staons or IP video walls of any size.
Generic Features:
The sources can be displayed anywhere at any size on the video wall and can overlap across mulple PAK 40-3s. Mulple sources can be decoded simultaneously in all or parally on a single PAK 40-3.
The video wall should be able to display mulple source formats, including H.264, H.265, VNC, RealVNC, proprietary streams of an IP KVM Encoder such as VuStream 350, as well as any computer applicaon or web browser coming from a networked applicaon server.
Sources can be cropped, scaled, and resized anywhere on the video wall. The windows where the sources are shown can also have a solid color border and can also display overlay text on top of the source content.
KVM Features for future growth:
The PAK 40-3 visualizaon nodes shall allow a keyboard and mouse to be connected directly to them using 2 x USB ports.

When configured as a KVM operator staon, the PAK 40-3 shall be Password-protected and require user login. User access to video, keyboard & mouse are all configurable.
When configured as a KVM operator staon, the visualizaon PAK 40-3 shall offer keyboard shortcuts for fast switching through layouts.
The keyboard & mouse that is connected to a specific visualizaon PAK 40-3 shall be able to take control of sources that are displayed by other PAK 40-3s.
The PAK 40-3 shall support Point-to-Point, Mulpoint, Mul-Source Control and Mulview KVM modes.
The PAK40-3 nodes shall be capable for synchronized render of mulcast video streams across nodes connected on the network
The KVM operator staon shall allow for sources from remote PCs to be controlled with keyboard and mouse via IP KVM encoders such as VuStream 350, Adder ipeps+, VNC, RealVNC as well as any computer applicaon or web browser coming from a networked applicaon server. Those sources can then be displayed alongside IP streams from encoders, cameras, or TV channels.
Replacing a defecve PAK 40-3 should not interrupt operaons of the rest of the video wall, and the replacement PAK 40-3 should be operaonal within 5 minutes.
The configuraon of the video wall and arrangement of PAK 40-3s should be performed through an easy to use drag and drop web interface.
