From: Alex Baer, IHEA-USA Executive Director
The International Hunter Education Association (IHEA-USA), in partnership with Boise State University, and in collaboration with seven State Wildlife Agencies, is creating a Hunter Education Virtual Reality (VR) program. This VR program is unique and will only be offered through IHEA-USA and channels of dispersement to the public agreed upon by the IHEA-USA and their collaborative partners. This is the only program of its kind currently offered.
The IHEA-USA and Boise State University have an Agreement signed by myself and the Grants and Contracts Officer outlining the work by the University’s Games, Interactive Media, and Mobile (GIMM) department. The dispersal of the VR software will be on the META platform for free download to the public with intended use for at-home self-study and State Wildlife Agency classroom education.
Respectfully, Alex Baer IHEA-USA Executive Director
