About this file

This document is a question-and-answer amendment related to an RFP issued by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for an Electronic Bidding System (eBIDS). The RFP seeks to procure a commercial off-the-shelf Software as a Service (SaaS) hosted solution for IDOT's construction bidding purposes. The RFP allows for fixed-price proposals, but payment will be tied to deliverables. IDOT has agreed to extend the proposal due date by 2 weeks to April 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. CST. The RFP covers integration requirements and data migration details, which will be shared after the contract is executed.

Regarding pricing, IDOT will accept fixed-price proposals, but the payment will be structured by deliverable items. The RFP is specific to IDOT's construction bidding needs and does not encompass all procurement activities for the Department of Transportation.
