About this file
This is a Utility Information Sheet for the Stoddard Road, Victory Road to Overland Road project (Project #522029) involving the Ada County Highway District (ACHD) and multiple utility companies operating in the Meridian, Idaho area. The project encompasses pavement maintenance with full depth asphalt reconstruction, curbing, gutters, sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, multi-use paths, bike lanes, retaining walls, and utility relocations including water mains, sewer lines, fiber optic lines, and irrigation lines. Utilities require approximately 70 working days from the Notice to Proceed date to complete their relocations, adjustments, and installations following clearing, grubbing, and tree removal activities. These utility work windows may significantly impact the contractor's critical path schedule, and utility companies may be present on-site throughout all project phases. The contractor must coordinate and accommodate utility company work, scheduling required construction windows accordingly throughout the project duration.
The sheet identifies seven utility companies with primary contacts and phone numbers for coordination purposes: City of Meridian Public Works (Micah Bandurraga), Idaho Power (Dan Hammerquist), Intermountain Gas (Jordan Garcia), Lumen (James Hayes), Sparklight (Michael Stephen), and Zayo (multiple contacts for relocations). Contractors should direct questions regarding utility coordination to ACHD Utility Coordinator Scott Bennett at (208) 387-6259, with ACHD General Conditions Section 26 applying to all utility-related work. Project phasing may have significant effects on utility relocation schedules, requiring careful coordination between the contractor and all utility providers throughout project execution.
