About this file
This document is a Notification of Acceptance of Use of a General Permit issued by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Central District Office for Seminole County Parks and Recreation. The permit (Number 0445102-001-DWC/CG) is for the Wekiva Golf Club Pump Station project, which includes constructing 633 linear feet of 8-inch PVC gravity main, a duplex lift station, 240 linear feet of 2-inch HDPE force main, and associated manholes, valves, and appurtenances. The permit was issued on February 13, 2024, with an expiration date of February 12, 2029, and is connected to the Wekiva Hunt Club Wastewater Treatment Facility.
The document outlines specific requirements for using the general permit, including obtaining clearance from FDEP before placing facilities into operation, reporting abnormal events, and adhering to specific notification procedures for placing new or modified collection/transmission facilities into service. The permit does not relieve the permittee of obtaining additional permits like dredge and fill, and requires reporting of unauthorized wastewater spills to the State Watch Office. The project is part of Seminole County's infrastructure improvements for the Wekiva Golf Club, with the engineering work being performed by CPH LLC, as indicated in the cc: section of the permit notification.
