About this file

This is a Uniform General Requirements document for the Pinellas County School Board's Invitation to Bid #25-JG-060, covering uniform procurement for five operational service departments: Food & Nutrition, Maintenance, Plant Operations, Transportation, and Warehouse. The solicitation seeks uniform suppliers to provide comprehensive uniform solutions for approximately 2,600 employees, with detailed specifications for t-shirts, polo shirts, work shirts, and accessories across multiple color and logo configurations. The contract will commence on October 29, 2025, and conclude on October 28, 2026, with options for two additional one-year renewals, and bidders must submit electronic proposals by September 26, 2025, at 3:00 pm through the District's OpenGov Procurement portal.

Pricing requirements mandate one price per size ranging from XS to 8XL, with delivery to a single location at the Walter Pownall Service Center. The estimated annual contract value is approximately $225,000, with size distribution expectations of 60-70% for smaller sizes and 30-40% for larger sizes. Vendors must provide high-quality, first-run garments with precise logo placement, offer individual packaging capabilities, and be prepared to fulfill orders as small as one item. The contract allows for personal employee purchases using cash, credit card, or check and extends pricing potential to other Pinellas County schools and departments. All district purchases will be tax-exempt and processed through purchase orders or district Visa purchasing cards, with a strong emphasis on garment quality, workmanship, and logo durability.
