About this file
This is an Alarm Monitoring Work Order document that serves as a technical exhibit detailing service issues and maintenance activities for security alarm systems at Fort Hood, TX. The work order captures a recurring system malfunction affecting the Arms Room access control and alarm monitoring integration, specifically where the Access Management System (AMS) displays an "in access" status inconsistently with actual physical security conditions. The documented problem indicates that when authorized personnel enter the Arms Room, alarms trigger despite the admin viewer showing access status, and manual disarming/arming by the armorer does not resolve the AMS display discrepancy, though system logs confirm the actual access and security events are being recorded. The work order requests that GCS technical support be notified of the MDi system issue and specifies that PFC Cook (803-200-7809) should be contacted before any technician arrival to ensure the Arms Room can be accessed for repairs. This technical exhibit directly supports the Follow-On for Alarm Monitoring Services solicitation (W9115126QA045) issued by the Department of the Army Materiel Command at Fort Hood, which is a request for quotation for ongoing security alarm monitoring services under NAICS code 561621 and is set-aside for 8(a) small business concerns.

Description Of Problem
| system is showing in access on AMS side, when user was inside alarms triggered while admin viewer was showing in access, I had armorer put in pin and system disarmed on the arms room side, but still shows in access on AMS side, when he re-entered pin system armed on the arms room side, log history of system does acknowledge the system is being accessed/secured, will inform GCS tech of MDi system issue. PFC Cook 803-200-7809 would like to be notified before a tech arrives so he can be onsite to open the arms room. | |
