About this file
This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), Division of Remediation, Oak Ridge Office (DoR-OR) for general analytical testing services. The ITB requests bids from qualified analytical laboratories to provide chemical and analytical testing services for various environmental media including air, biota, fish, milk, sediment, sludge, solids, vegetables, waste, and water. The testing services include metals analysis by ICP-MS and ICP-OES, semivolatile and volatile organic compounds analysis, inorganic anions analysis, and other general chemistry parameters. The estimated annual quantities for each test are provided. Bids are requested for both Level 2 and Level 4 Quality Control data packages.
The ITB provides details on the required reporting limits, minimum detection limits, and analytical methods for each test. It also specifies the applicable regulatory limits such as Tennessee Ambient Water Quality Criteria and EPA Lifetime Health Advisory Limits. Bidders are required to provide their proposed minimum detection limits and unit pricing for each test. The contract term is one year with options to renew for up to four additional one-year periods.
