About this file

This Tasks Checklist document outlines the comprehensive janitorial and custodial service requirements for the South Central Louisiana Human Services Authority (SCLHSA) at three behavioral health facilities: St. Mary Behavioral Health Center (10,946 sq ft), River Parish Behavioral Health Center (5,318 sq ft), and River Parish Assessment Center (2,800 sq ft). The services encompass daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual cleaning tasks across all facility areas including entrances, lobbies, corridors, offices, bathrooms, kitchen, and custodian's closet. Services must be performed Monday through Friday between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM, with all work completed and ready for inspection by 8:00 AM daily. The mandatory site visit must be scheduled no later than 10 days prior to the bid opening date of December 17, 2025. The initial contract commences January 2, 2026, for a 12-month period with options for two additional 12-month renewals, providing a maximum contract duration of 36 months.

The checklist specifies detailed cleaning protocols for each frequency level, including sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping, bathroom sanitation, fixture cleaning, paper and soap dispenser refills, and trash removal. Minimum staffing requirements include one on-site supervisor/custodian and one custodian at 10 working hours per week each, with contractors responsible for providing additional staffing as necessary. The contractor must supply all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment unless otherwise specified as labor-only services. Special provisions include bi-weekly disinfectant spray applications during infectious outbreaks when agency-requested, with emphasis on high-touch surfaces. Contractors must comply with OSHA guidelines, provide appropriate personal protective equipment, maintain cleaning inventory records, and coordinate with clinic management regarding facility-specific requirements.
