Custodian Checklist and Scope of Work

This document is a Scope of Work for custodial and cleaning services at a healthcare facility clinic. The service encompasses comprehensive facility maintenance including exterior, lobby, corridors, kitchen, offices, bathrooms, and custodian's closet areas. Daily cleaning tasks include entrance glass cleaning, floor maintenance, bathroom sanitation, kitchen cleaning, and trash removal. The scope specifies cleaning frequency intervals: daily tasks for all bathrooms and kitchen areas; every other day tasks for exterior, lobby, and corridor areas; weekly tasks including lobby chair wiping, bathroom stall wall cleaning, and kitchen appliance cleaning; monthly tasks such as blind dusting and vent vacuuming; quarterly tasks including air vent dusting and interior window cleaning; and semi-annual tasks for baseboard cleaning. The contract includes specialized services for disinfectant spray machine application during infectious outbreaks, which must be applied bi-weekly to common areas including the lobby, group rooms, restrooms, and reception area.

The custodian is responsible for maintaining detailed records including a weekly supply checklist, cleaning inventory logs, and preparation of dirty items for weekly Tuesday morning pickup from A1 Services. The disinfectant spray service is contingent upon agency request during infectious disease outbreaks and requires application to high-touch surfaces including chairs, tables, door handles, faucet handles, toilets, and countertops. All personnel performing disinfectant spraying must use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). The custodian must coordinate with the clinic manager to identify specific rooms requiring enhanced cleaning services and maintain an orderly custodian's closet with proper supply management and inventory documentation.
