About this file

This document is a Bid Amendment for Bid Solicitation #25DPP01157, issued by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury's Division of Purchase and Property for Breakaway U-Post Sign Supports. The solicitation seeks firm, fixed-price unit pricing for sign support infrastructure components across three groups: steel U-posts and sign posts, omnidirectional breakaway brackets and hardware, and upright beam posts for highway signs. Originally scheduled for a June 10, 2025 quote opening, the date has been revised to July 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time. The contract will have a base term of four years with potential extensions up to three additional years, and is available for use by Statewide Using Agencies and Cooperative Purchasing Participants.

The procurement is not designated as a small business or disabled veteran-owned business set-aside, allowing broad vendor participation. Bidders must submit comprehensive documentation, including the Bidder Data Form, Ownership Disclosure Form, Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran Form, and Specification Conformance Certification. While no specific budget range is stated, the solicitation appears to be a reprocurement of existing breakaway U-post sign support products. Contractors must maintain insurance coverage with minimum liability limits of $1,000,000 and adhere to anti-discrimination policies. The state intends to make one contract award per group, with potential for significant infrastructure support and replacement across New Jersey's transportation network, requiring compliance with technical standards such as ASTM A1075, ASTM A499, and ASTM A1011.
