About this file
This document is a Purchase Order Terms and Conditions for the Purchase of Services issued by the Board of Governors of the Colorado State University System, acting through Colorado State University (CSU). The specific terms and conditions govern the purchase of services, with provisions that define the contractual relationship, performance expectations, payment procedures, and legal protections for both CSU and the contractor. Key provisions include requirements for invoicing, compliance with laws, quality standards, safety information, intellectual property rights, indemnification, termination conditions, and insurance obligations.
The document outlines financial and administrative requirements such as fund availability contingencies, vendor offset provisions, and independent contractor status. Notably, the terms specify that financial obligations are contingent upon fund appropriation and availability, with special considerations for federal fund-supported purchases. The contractor must maintain comprehensive general liability insurance of at least $1,000,000, workers' compensation insurance, and automobile liability insurance. Additional compliance requirements include adherence to export control regulations, verification of legal work status, and meeting Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility standards. The document was revised on September 23, 2021, and serves as a comprehensive legal framework for service procurement by Colorado State University.
