About this file

This is a Notice of Intent to Certify Sole Source submitted by the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) in accordance with Mississippi state law for the renewal of a physician scheduling platform. The document addresses sole source certification number SS9743 for QGenda, a centralized scheduling system designed for the Neurology Department. QGenda enables physicians and residents mobile access to call, work, and rotation schedules while providing real-time visibility of scheduling changes and automatic alerts to affected parties. The platform includes proprietary logic to prevent scheduling gaps, advanced forecasting tools, resource planning capabilities, and integrations with third-party software. First advertisement of the intent to certify occurred on August 17, 2026, with a second advertisement on August 24, 2026. The response deadline for objectors is August 31, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Central Time, with the Notice of Award or No Award to be posted the same day. The contract term is three years with no renewal options mentioned.

The estimated expenditure for the QGenda physician scheduling platform renewal is $120,000.00 for the three-year certification period. UMMC asserts that QGenda is the sole provider capable of delivering the required licensing and support for this product and that no other physician scheduling platform offers the same unique, customizable features available at no additional charge. The agency determined that the renewal amount is reasonable and within the expected price range for comparable products, with pricing compared against available market intelligence and applicable discounts pursued where available. UMMC reserves the right to increase spending authority if additional enhancements, upgrades, support, or equipment are identified as within scope during the certification period. Interested parties may submit objections using the Vendor Form available through the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration, with all objections requiring the certification statement outlined in Attachment B.
