About this file

The document is a specification sheet for a dehumidification system for a dry room at Argonne National Laboratory, issued by the Department of Energy Office of Science. The solicitation (5-B175-Q-00386-00) seeks a dehumidifier for a lithium battery R&D space with precise environmental requirements, including maintaining a dewpoint of -42°C and temperature of 21°C in a room measuring 23'x18'x9'. Key specifications include makeup air of ~700 CFM, installation on an existing concrete slab outside the facility, and utilities including gas, electric, chilled water, and hot water with 480V building voltage.

Vendors must submit proposals by March 28, 2025, at 5:00 PM CST, with questions accepted until March 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM CST. Required submission documents include an executed ANL-70 Request for Quotation, country of origin details, completed Representations & Certifications (ANL-70B), review of commercial terms (ANL-71), and confirmation of specification and drawing review. The project targets delivery in October 2025, with the dry room designed to accommodate 1-4 people and requiring minimal door openings, and no specific moisture, virus, or odor control beyond the core dehumidification function.
