12. Section 11 of Amendment 0006 is removed and replaced with the following:

This clarifies the use of the PLATTS and OPDC in subsection (k) of B19.02.

a. PLATTS – This method for increasing or decreasing fuel pricing only applies to CLINs 0005, 0006, 0007, 0009, 0010, and 0011. PLATTS’ product prices will increase or decrease monthly based on the average of high and low assessments contained in the Platt’s publication of each month in which deliveries are made. Therefore, the effective price for the period of the 1st through the 30th /31st will be the average of the high and low assessments for the previous month’s assessments posted on the 1st of each month. Saturdays and Sundays shall be considered as Platt’s non-publication days. If assessments are not posted by Platts during the period that delivery was made due to a holiday or another occurrence, only the posted assessments for that period will be used in the calculation.

b. OPDC – This method for increasing or decreasing fuel pricing only applies to CLINs 0001, 0002, 0003, 0004, 0008, 0012, 0013, and 0014. For the purposes of B19.02 in regard to OPDC, the term “posted” includes OPDC’s provision of, or making available, its prices. In accordance with B19.02, the awardee(s) will be required to provide DLA Energy with the fuel prices made available by OPDC that form the basis of a price adjustment.

This language replacing Section 11 of Amendment 0006 is inserted at the end of subsection (k) of B19.02.
