About this file

This is a Question and Answer Response document from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) addressing bidder inquiries related to solicitation SP4702-26-Q-0014 for Elevator Service and Maintenance at the DSCC facility. The RFQ covers four Contract Line Items (CLINs): preventive maintenance of elevators and wheelchair lifts (CLIN 0001), emergency troubleshooting and corrective maintenance (CLIN 0002), third-party annual inspections (CLIN 0003), and cybersecurity services (CLIN 0004), all priced on a monthly service basis. The contract will have a one-year base period with one twelve-month option year.

Key responses from the Government address technical and administrative requirements: obsolete equipment repairs are not intended if the equipment fails continuously due to age, though contractors should recommend like-for-like replacements or upgrades when reasonable and feasible; minor parts covered under maintenance include lubrication and small items required per industry standards; there is no cost to the contractor for background checks and common access cards; the only equipment inventory provided is referenced in paragraph 7.1 of the solicitation; and this solicitation follows a previous incumbent contract numbered SP4702-23-P-0014. The solicitation is Full and Open Competition with no small business set-aside. Quotes are due by May 29, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST. The Contracting Officer is Becky Hard at DLA Contracting Services Office - Columbus Division 1.
