About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for commercial laundry services at the U.S. Coast Guard Base Ketchikan Medical Clinic. The solicitation (70Z03525QKETC0081) seeks a small business contractor to provide weekly laundering of medical scrubs, with an estimated 45 pairs per week to be picked up on Wednesdays and returned on Fridays. The contract period runs from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2030, with a base period and four optional one-year extension periods, using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation method.
The laundry service requires strict adherence to OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens standards for handling potentially contaminated medical scrubs, including proper containment and personal protective equipment. The contractor must clean and neatly fold the scrubs, with coverage to prevent dust or dirt. The delivery location is the USCG Base Ketchikan Medical Clinic at 1300 Stedman St. in Ketchikan, AK. Proposals are due by April 7, 2025, at 12:00 PM AKST, to be submitted via email with required documentation including pricing, representations, and evidence of technical capability.
