About this file
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for landscape maintenance services at Antietam and Monocacy National Battlefields. The National Park Service seeks a licensed landscaping contractor with at least 10 years of industry experience to perform landscape maintenance operations across approximately 52.49 acres during the base year, with options to expand to up to 132.92 acres across 41 independent landscapes. The contract is a HUBZone Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 561730 with a small business size standard of $9.5 Million.
The solicitation covers landscape maintenance services including turf mowing, line trimming, edging, clean-up, leaf, and debris removal, to be conducted simultaneously across independent landscapes. Performance will occur for 8 calendar months (April-November) annually, with a base year and four option years, plus a potential 6-month extension. The government estimates an average of three cuttings per month, with variations based on environmental factors. Quotes are due by 2:00 PM EDT on May 20, 2025, and the contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal is most advantageous to the government, considering past performance, understanding of requirements, and price.
