About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration for Washington State, King and Snohomish Counties. The wage determination (2015-5535, Revision 28, effective 5/13/2026) establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for service contract employees working on federal contracts in this geographic area.

The document lists over 300 occupational classifications with corresponding hourly wage rates ranging from approximately $17.88 to $64.15, organized by occupational category including administrative support, accounting, customer service, data entry, dispatching, general clerical, housing, order processing, personnel, production control, scheduling, secretarial, supply technician, survey, switchboard, travel clerk, and word processor positions, as well as automotive service occupations, food preparation, furniture maintenance and repair, general services, health occupations, information and arts, information technology, instructional, laundry and dry-cleaning, machine tool operation, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant and system operations, protective service, recreation, stevedoring and longshore, technical, and transportation/mobile equipment operations. Fringe benefits include $5.55 per hour for health and welfare (up to 40 hours per week or $222 weekly) or $5.09 per hour under Executive Order 13786, plus two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after fifteen years. Employees receive a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. Special pay differentials apply to computer professionals, air traffic controllers, weather observers, and hazardous duty positions involving explosives or ordnance handling. Uniform costs are reimbursable by contractors where required, and conformance procedures exist for unlisted occupational classifications through SF-1444 forms submitted to the Department of Labor.
