The contractor shall remove approximately 760 square feet of existing worn carpet tiles and all baseboards within the Command Center, then supply and install new commercial glue-down carpet tiles and approximately 160 linear feet of 4-inch black commercial rubber cove base. The existing Vinyl Composition Tile flooring surface requires scraping and preparation, including removal of adhesive residue and minor floor patching to meet manufacturer specifications and ensure a level, safe walking surface. The contractor must provide carpet samples for Coast Guard Northwest District selection prior to installation. All work must be performed strictly according to manufacturer specifications to ensure durability in a Command Center environment. The estimated period of performance is August 31, 2026 through September 14, 2026, subject to change closer to award.

Due to the Command Center's federal security classification and location within a federal building, all contractor personnel must comply with building security requirements, USCG physical security and access protocols, and facility access coordination procedures. Personnel must obtain security background clearances, be escorted at all times per Coast Guard regulations, leave all portable electronic devices outside the Command Center, sign into visitor logs, and ensure the facility is sanitized of all classified information before work begins. The local point of contact is OS1 Morgan Custer at Morgan.D.Custer@USCG.mil or 1-866-498-0713. The contractor is responsible for confirming exact measurements and off-site disposition of all removed materials in accordance with local and federal environmental disposal regulations.
