About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the Screening Equipment Deployment Services (SEDS) Checked Baggage Task Order under the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) SEDS contract. The SOW outlines the requirements for the Contractor to perform program management, deployment services, reporting, and other tasks related to the installation, relocation, and decommissioning of Explosive Detection System (EDS) equipment at airports across the West, Central, and East regions of the United States.

The Task Order has a 1-year base period, with various contract line item numbers (CLINs) for different services such as a Task Order Program Manager, Deployment Services, Supplemental Deployment Services, Time and Material Deployment Services, and Travel. Appendices provide details on current projects, EDS recapitalization, relocations/decommissions, and new installations. This SOW is tied to the pre-solicitation for the SEDS Checked Baggage contract opportunity, which seeks industry input on the TSA's requirements for security equipment installation, deployment, and planning services at U.S. airports and other designated locations.
