About this file
This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration for Washington Counties of King and Snohomish (Wage Determination No. 2015-5535, Revision 28, effective 5/13/2026).
The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service contract work across numerous occupational classifications spanning administrative, clerical, automotive, food service, furniture maintenance, general services, health, information and arts, information technology, instructional, laundry, machine tool operation, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical, transportation, and miscellaneous occupations. Hourly rates range from $18.64 to $64.15 depending on occupation and skill level. All listed occupations receive health and welfare benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week or $222.00 per week) or under Executive Order 13786, $5.09 per hour ($203.60 per week or $882.27 per month). Employees receive two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after fifteen years; a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually; and applicable night pay differentials for air traffic controllers and weather observers. Computer professionals earning at least $27.63 per hour may qualify as exempt computer professionals under specific criteria. Contractors must furnish uniforms without cost to employees or reimburse actual costs. A conformance process using Standard Form 1444 is required when unlisted occupational classifications are needed on a contract.
