About this file
This Scope of Work (SOW) is for Clay County Environmental Services, specifically addressing the Replacement of 40YD Compactor Receiver Boxes at four Environmental Convenience Centers (ECCs): Keystone Heights, Doctors Inlet, Clay Hill, and Long Bay. The project involves procuring and installing four new 40-yard compactor receiver boxes to replace aging units over 20 years old that are structurally degraded and no longer suitable for safe waste transport. The project timeline is set for completion within 30-45 days from the order date, with delivery and installation at the specified ECC locations. The vendor will be responsible for supplying receiver boxes that meet detailed specifications, including a 22-foot length, 105-inch height, 96-inch width, heavy-duty industrial-grade construction with fully welded design, reinforced structural steel frame, and 10-gauge steel walls and floor.
The SOW specifies comprehensive technical requirements for the new receiver boxes, including compatibility with existing compactors, ground rollers for mobility, rear doors with secure locking mechanisms, front and rear hook-up systems, and watertight seals. The final inspection and acceptance documentation will be completed by the Environmental Services Deputy Director J. Wilkes or a designated representative. While specific pricing is not detailed in the document, the project focuses on operational safety and efficiency by replacing critical waste management infrastructure. The scope emphasizes the importance of these receiver boxes in maintaining the operational integrity of the Environmental Convenience Centers' waste collection and transport systems.
