About this file

The document is a Scope of Services for solar energy, energy efficiency, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection projects for a municipal jurisdiction, likely the City of St. Petersburg. The comprehensive scope covers a wide range of professional engineering and technical services including studies, evaluations, technical investigations, economic analyses, design work, permitting, construction administration, facility start-up, commissioning, sustainable design certification, grant identification, and expert consulting services. The services span multiple engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and alternative energy systems, with detailed specifications for each area.

The projects may be funded through various sources including city, state, federal, or combination funding, with the requirement that non-city funded projects must conform to the specific funding agency's requirements. The scope includes provisions for criminal background checks for consultants and subcontractors accessing specific municipal facilities, including Parks & Recreation locations with childcare, Police Department facilities, Water Department buildings, and Port facilities. The document outlines extensive capabilities for renewable energy project development, including identifying alternative energy options, producing budget estimates, securing financing, monitoring project performance, and advising on emerging technologies across multiple energy platforms like solar, wind, biomass, and ground source systems.
