About this file
This is a sample standard contract between the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) and an unspecified supplier for emergency line clearance services. The contract is set to begin on an unspecified effective date through May 31 of the contract year, with the document indicating a 2025 timeframe. The contract appears to cover storm restoration tree and vegetation line clearance services along transmission and distribution access and rights of way in Florida. While specific details about the exact scope are not fully detailed in this sample contract, the document outlines the general terms of engagement, including the supplier's responsibilities to provide labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the specified services.
The contract includes provisions for payment based on the supplier's proposal, with a not-to-exceed ceiling price to be established through a purchase order or other OUC-designated document. The contract emphasizes confidentiality, with the supplier agreeing to treat all information related to the contract as proprietary and confidential. Additionally, the document references FEMA Contract Clauses and establishes a hierarchical order of precedence for contract documents, which includes the main contract, supplemental conditions, general conditions, solicitation documents, and the supplier's response to the solicitation. The contract also includes provisions for strict confidentiality and requires the supplier to handle all materials and information with utmost discretion.
