About this file

This Salient Characteristics Sheet details specifications for barricades to be used during an airshow. The physical characteristics call for free-standing panels that are 4' tall and 7' wide, made of lightweight galvanized steel, maintenance-free, and requiring no drilling. Essential characteristics specify a minimum size of 4' tall by 6' wide, with Long Fence offering a 6' width to help reduce costs. The primary function of these barricades is to prevent personnel from crossing onto the airfield and interrupting the air show. The justification for approval indicates that these barricades will help maintain airfield operational status by containing crowds and keeping the area clean during the event.
