About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a contract related to an air show event, addressing specific logistics details about fencing, barriers, and delivery requirements. The Q&A covers four key points: (1) bike rack repackaging, where the vendor will need to re-band materials in their original configuration, (2) forklift availability for moving barriers, (3) fencing specifications allowing potential substitution of 6-foot tall fence panels for bike rack barriers, and (4) driver background checks. The contracting organization indicates a preference for bike rack barriers for event visibility but allows flexibility with 6-foot fence panels in certain areas. All drivers must be pre-vetted through Security Forces, with driver and vehicle information to be requested upon contract award.

• Question 1: The SOW states the contractor will not install the barricades. Upon returning to retrieve the bike racks, will the racks be repackaged in their original configuration?
• Answer: No, we do not have the ability to re-band the materials provided to transport them in the original vendor configuration. This will need to be completed by the vendor.
• Question 2: Will CES have forklifts available with 6-foot forks?
• Answer: We can forklift the barriers.
• Question 3: The SOW specifies 31,000 linear feet of fencing. Can we use 7,000 linear feet of six-foot tall fence panels to contribute towards fulfilling this total requirement, considering the bike rack dimensions are 4 x 7.5 feet as shown in the
SOW?
• Answer: We would prefer the bike rack barriers for the visibility of the air show. However, we can utilize the 6ft tall fence if need be in certain areas.
• Question 4: Is it required for drivers to submit background information prior to the delivery?
• Answer: Yes, all drivers will need to be pre-vetted through Security Forces.
Driver & vehicle information with be requested upon award.
