About this file

This is a Salient Characteristics Package for a dormitory door lock installation and programming project at Joint Base Andrews, specifying the exact equipment and services required for the procurement. The project involves the installation and programming of approximately 127 Dormakaba RT Plus door locks (Part Numbers 79PS016T1KL30-626 and KR30-626) with Kaba Lock Trim Plates (Part Number 061-510779-630) in satin chrome finish for unaccompanied housing in Building 1690. The locks must feature a Standard ADB Mortise 1-1/4" face plate with deadbolt and Lori Type Cylinder with Long/Long Lever configuration, matching the existing dormitory campus system specifications and durability standards.

The contractor shall remove existing locks and install all 127 new Dormakaba RT Plus locks with required mounting hardware and installation equipment, then program them to operate with the Community software and Ambiance System for key issuance and access point management. The contractor's lock installer must be trained and certified by Dormakaba for the RT Plus Standard Mortise ADB and Lori type cylinder installations, match the existing cylinder code, and verify that all locks are properly installed, programmed, and functioning. If fewer than 127 locks are installed, excess new locks shall be provided to the government. This package supports the Air Force's small business set-aside Request for Quotation (FA286026Q0023) under NAICS code 332510 with a size standard of 750 employees.
