About this file
The document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the procurement of jaill glass and cell glass. The RFQ provides detailed specifications for the required products, including tempered, laminated, and wire glass in various sizes and thicknesses. The state is seeking fixed pricing for the supply and delivery of these materials to multiple locations within the state. Responses to the RFQ are due by February 26, 2018, and a non-mandatory site visit is scheduled prior to the submission deadline. The resulting contract will have an initial term of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year periods.
The RFQ has set aside a portion of the work for certified minority-owned, women-owned, and veteran-owned business enterprises. While the current incumbent is not identified, the RFQ outlines the state's current usage and spending for the required products. Funding for this procurement will come from the state's general budget, and the RFQ specifies the maximum available funding amount. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Standard Contract Form will be used for this procurement, which outlines the general contractual requirements, procurement process, compensation structure, payment terms, and contractor obligations.
