About this file

This document is a policy from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts regarding staff parking at the House of Correction (HOC) and Jail facilities. The policy outlines procedures for authorized parking in designated lots and on nearby streets, including the use of parking stickers, placards, and requirements for reporting vehicle information. The policy also addresses enforcement, temporary parking privileges, and restrictions on vehicles parked inside the facility perimeter.

The related state and local contract opportunity is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the procurement of jail glass and cell glass. The RFQ specifies detailed product requirements, including tempered, laminated, and wire glass in various sizes and thicknesses. The state is seeking fixed pricing for the supply and delivery of these materials to multiple locations within the state. Responses are due by February 26, 2018, and a non-mandatory site visit is scheduled prior to the submission deadline. The resulting contract will have an initial one-year term, with options to renew for up to four additional one-year periods. The RFQ has set aside a portion of the work for certified minority-owned, women-owned, and veteran-owned business enterprises.
