About this file

This is a pricing schedule template for fire stopping, asbestos abatement, reinsulation, and operation and maintenance services over a complete period of performance. The schedule contains five primary line items with unit pricing structures as follows:

Item #1 (Fire Stopping) includes 11 sub-items priced per unit (each or linear foot) covering pipe and conduit wall and floor penetrations ranging from less than 2 inches to greater than 16 inches in diameter, ductwork, boiler breeching, beams, columns, firestopping at wall edges, and masonry and drywall cavity enclosures. Item #2 (Asbestos Abatement, Glove Bag Removal) covers insulation removal from pipes and fittings in two size categories (up to 6 inches and 7 to 12 inches diameter), priced per linear foot or per unit. Item #3 (Asbestos Abatement, Full-Containment Removal) includes 14 sub-items addressing insulation removal from various building components, contaminated ceiling and wall materials, floor tile, carpet, transite panels, spray-on insulation, and contaminated soil, with pricing per linear foot, square foot, or cubic foot. Item #4 (Operation and Maintenance) addresses patch and repair services for pipe, fitting, boiler/tank, and ductwork insulation, plus cleanup and encapsulation work, all priced per linear foot or per unit. Item #5 (Reinsulation) contains overlapping categories priced per linear foot, square foot, or per unit for reinsulation of pipes, fittings, tanks, boilers, and ductwork in specified diameter ranges.

All line-item pricing is required to include temporary environmental controls and safety, office administration, project management, preconstruction and infection control risk assessments, interim life safety measures, submittals, testing, inspection, reports, manifests, material disposal, decontamination, temporary signage, daily and final cleaning, warranty, as-builts, and overhead and profit.
