About this file
This document is an Attachment F - COBID (Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity) Certification Outreach Plan for an Oregon state procurement opportunity. The form is designed to promote participation of certified small businesses, specifically those owned by minorities, women, service-disabled veterans, and emerging small businesses in state-funded contract opportunities. The document requires offerors to disclose their certification status, past relationships with certified firms, potential subcontracting opportunities, and steps they will take to solicit certified firms for participation.
The outreach plan seeks to ensure equal opportunity for certified firms by requiring contractors to provide details about their intentions to engage minority-owned, woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, and emerging small businesses in potential subcontracting roles. While no specific contract value or procurement details are provided in this attachment, the form indicates that contractors must proactively identify and include certified firms in their procurement strategy. Contractors are asked to describe potential subcontracting opportunities, approximate dollar values, and their willingness to report subcontractor identities and contract values to COBID, with the ultimate goal of promoting diversity and inclusion in state contract awards.
