About this file

This is an addendum to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia on behalf of Kennesaw State University (KSU) for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Architectural, Planning, Engineering, and Commissioning Services. The procurement seeks qualified architectural and/or engineering firms to provide planning, design, and construction administration services for projects at KSU's Kennesaw and Marietta, Georgia campuses. The contract term is one year with the possibility of a two-year renewal, and selected consultants may be required to develop and deliver contract documents under various delivery methods including Task Order, CM at Risk, Design Bid Build, Letter Bid, and Direct Award. The deadline for written questions and clarifications is 2:00 p.m. EDT on March 13, 2026, directed to tneylon@kennesaw.edu. More than one firm may be selected as a provider under this IDIQ contract.

The addendum revises two key requirements from the original RFQ advertisement. The geographic requirement for firm location has been expanded from within 30 miles of either KSU campus to within 50 miles of either campus. Additionally, the addendum provides the previously omitted evaluation criteria for Statements of Qualifications, weighted as follows: 25% for firm stability including corporate history, growth, resources, litigation history, and financial information; 45% for relevant project experience and qualifications, including demonstrated ability in designing facilities of comparable complexity and size for the State of Georgia and similar organizations, and the qualifications of principal design professionals and lead staff; and 30% for apparent suitability to provide services, including past performance, proximity to project location, workload capacity, and services offered, with specific consideration given to non-discrimination policies, minority and women-owned business enterprise inclusion efforts, and experience with public buildings regarding public safety, health, accessibility for persons with disabilities, and environmental concerns.
