About this file
The document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Missouri Department of Revenue, solicitation number RFQ19001, for a Filtration Dust Collector. The RFQ was open from October 12, 2018, to November 9, 2018, seeking a dust collection system specifically compatible with an Ameri-Shred 4000 Series 3 industrial paper shredder. The required equipment must operate on a 3-phase, 208-volt electrical system, handle approximately 1,200 cubic feet of throughput per minute, and achieve a minimum 98% efficiency on particles 0.5 micron and larger. The contractor is expected to provide all necessary electrical connections for installation, and the solicitation included optional pricing for a cover for the existing output conveyor, along with all required duct and pipe work to connect the dust collector to the shredder.
The RFQ was open to all vendors without specific set-aside restrictions, with delivery terms set as Free On Board (FOB) Destination and payment terms of Net 45 Days. No specific estimated contract value was disclosed, and the document did not indicate requirements for small businesses, minority-owned businesses, or other specialized enterprise categories. Interested vendors were offered the opportunity to request a facility tour. The procurement appears to be a straightforward equipment acquisition focused on obtaining a high-efficiency dust collection system to support the department's industrial paper shredding operations, with an emphasis on technical specifications and compatibility with existing infrastructure.
