About this file
The document is a Request for Quote (RFQ19001) issued by the Missouri Department of Revenue for a Filtration Dust Collector to be used with an Ameri-Shred 4000 Series 3 industrial paper shredder. The solicitation was open from October 12, 2018, to November 9, 2018, with responses due by 2:00 PM CST. The dust collector must be compatible with the existing shredder, operate on a 3-phase, 208-volt electrical system, and handle approximately 1,200 cubic feet of throughput per minute. The system is required to achieve a minimum 98% efficiency on particles 0.5 micron and larger, with the contractor responsible for providing all necessary electrical connections. The RFQ also requested optional pricing for a cover for the existing output conveyor and duct and pipe work to connect the dust collector to the shredder.
The procurement is open to all vendors, with delivery terms set as Free On Board (FOB) Destination and payment terms of Net 45 Days. No specific set-asides, small business requirements, or minority-owned business provisions were mentioned in the documentation. The solicitation did not specify a total estimated contract value or budget range. Vendors were offered the opportunity to request a facility tour to better understand the installation requirements. The procurement appears to be a straightforward equipment acquisition focused on obtaining a high-efficiency dust collection system to support the department's industrial paper shredding operations, with no indication of complex funding mechanisms or multi-year contract considerations.
