About this file
This document is Amendment 1 to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Huttig Tower Antenna and Cabinet Relocation project issued by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The amendment addresses a clarification about the tower's elevator functionality, with the site Telecommunications Manager confirming the elevator was repaired approximately 12 months ago and is likely operational, though continued functionality is not guaranteed.
The RFQ solicits firm-fixed pricing for antenna and cabinet relocation at the Huttig Tower site in Arkansas, scheduled for June to July 2025. Key requirements include providing personnel insurance and equipment operator licenses, being located within 150 miles of the work site, and submitting detailed proposals covering personnel count, project duration, daily work hours, and waste removal plan. The project involves removing and installing a cabinet, fiber, antenna, and feedline at the 1200 ft tower level, with the government providing all installation materials. Proposals must be valid for 90 calendar days and include 600 ft of feedline and antenna installation from the tower base.
